My Cricut Craft Room and Design Team Introduction to Melissa and Charlene

My name is Melissa Howard and I love to craft. I joke that I have never met a craft that I didn't like. That is mostly true, however I have fallen in love with paper crafting. I love making cards for friends and family and I love creating scrapbooks for myself and others. I also love to make things for school and that comes in handy because I teach first grade.

When I look back over my past albums and projects, I am surprised to see how much my style has changed over the years. The materials and tools have had a big impact on me and now that I have the Explore, watch out world.  Here are just a few of my favorite projects.

This is one of my first vinyl projects, a cup for me!

Here are a couple of cards plus a sweet treat that I made using my Explore.

Happy Crafting!

Iv been a crafter as long as I can remember. I've been making cards and scrapping booking for over 20 years. My husband calls my craft room the craft cave. I got craftmut from pushing M instead of N when I was signing up for emails 20 years ago, and I've just have kept it. Im a Christian, I was blessed to go on a mission trip to Africa last year. I don't belive in witches, but it's a inside family joke. I teach friends with scrap booking and making cards, lately I've been teaching friends to use the Explore, even my nine year old granddaughter. I'm amazed I was ask to going this design team!

This is a smash book I made from a composition book using  Artbooking cartridge, and paper from Close To My Heart, their cartridges are my favorites.

I was given this heat transfer vinyl from a friend who has a t-shirt shop and I taught her how to use her cricut explore to do custom work in her shop. I was given a used heat press by some great friends who do t-shirts.  I was able to do the design my self from stahls.com on their site you can use CadworxLIVE™, was easy to use.

Made this from svgcut, com file, I love these guys, they even have videos on how to put it together, not sure who the paper is by.

Got the files to do this 4th of July banner from kadoodlebugdesigns.com, the trick with doing the rosettes is hot glue.
